The food is fantastic! We don’t go to Las Cruces as much as we’d like but when we do we stop by here. This is a meal that we look forward too. They’re not open enough though, hours are minimal. The food is that good though I still give them 5 stars. Tip, order the enchiladas which are out of this world :)

We eat at Nellie's 2-3 times a month. This is the best Mexican Food in town. It is a very small restaurant and it is crowded but no one minds as the food is great. The waitresses have been there for a long time and get to know you. It is like a family as we know the owner and he is there working along with the waitress and his mother Nellie, is in the kitchen cooking. The red enchiladas are so delicious, the burritos are full of goodness and chile is served on top with plenty of cheese. Tacos are great. The salsa is hot and spicy and crisp tostadas. They serve you quickly and food is always fresh, hot and tasty! Love this place, and our friends meet us there and we usually have a table with 6-8 persons. We are all retired so we go at 11:00 am to beat the lunch crowd! Everything on the menu is delicious.

Love this place, like eating with family! Just remember there not open everyday, and only for breakfast and lunch. Most important they only take cash! Even with all these conditions they're always full, witch tells me how good the food is.

Loved this place only open for breakfast and lunch. Huevos Ranchero to die for the sauces red and green were wonderful with just the right kick. Food tasted like home you feel like your in someones home. Great service too.

Great homemade food. I had liver and onions with jalapenos. So good? Might have to wait to be seated. Family owned. Mother Nellie was there working at age 82. Friendly with proud owners. Must go!
